Description
- Invented by Debra C. Lowsky, MS, CCC-SLP, ARK’s Grabber¬Æ is the original and still most popular oral motor chew tool. The innovative P shape design features an easy-to-hold loop, with a long extension for reaching the back molars. Use it:
- As an oral fidget for sensory seekers craving stimulation and proprioceptive input
- As a safe alternative to chewing on hands, knuckles, shirts, pencils, etc.
- As an alternative to tooth-grinding and/or thumb-sucking
- To help decrease oral defensiveness and food aversions
- To practice biting/chewing without the risk of choking
- To work on jaw strength and stability and oral motor skills
- To build oral strength, mobility, and control
- To satisfy the urge to chew for individuals who are fed through a g-tube
- ARK Grabber® comes in 3 color-coded toughness levels:
- Standard (red or magenta) РThese are the softest ones with the most“squishiness” and “give” to them. Recommended for mild chewers and/or beginners practicing biting/chewing skills
- Medium Firm / XT (lime green or teal) – XT stands for ‘Xtra Tough,’
recommended for moderate chewing. These are firmer, but still chewy.
- Very Firm / XXT (royal blue or forest green) – XXT stands for ‘Xtra Xtra Tough,’ recommended for more avid chewing. These are the most firm and provide the most resistance to the jaw. No chew tool is indestructible, but these are very tough.
- ARK manufactures the Grabber¬Æ in the USA! It’s medical grade, FDA compliant, and contains NO lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex. Measures approximately 5 inches lengthwise, just under 2 across the loop, and half an inch thick.
- Caution: although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible. Some individuals (particularly those with heavy oral needs and aggressive biting/chewing) may be able to damage the tools. How long each tool lasts depends on the oral sensory needs of the child, whether or not they are seeing an occupational therapist if needed, as well as many other variables in his/her life. Please supervise at all times and replace if necessary when the item shows signs of wear and tear. For tougher versions of the Grabber, check out the Grabber XT and XXT. Shipping & Delivery
EMarkiz.com understands that getting your items on-time is important to you, so we make every effort to process your order as quickly as possible, and provide our customers with the lowest flat shipping rates available. STANDARD DELIVERY
Standard Delivery is between 1-3 business days. Our business days are from Saturday-Thursday 9-5pm.
EXPRESS DELIVERY
For Express Delivery, the order cut-off time is 12pm and the delivery would be on the same day for certain 'Standard locations' and the next day for 'Beyond Delivery locations'. For orders after 12pm, Express Delivery for Dubai would be the Next day and All other Emirates as well as 'Beyond Areas' would happen the day after i.e. in 2 days.
We have mentioned a few areas as 'Standard Areas' and 'Beyond Delivery Areas' but it would at our discretion as to which locations are considered as Standard and Beyond.
If any issues, please Whatsapp or Email us to confirm if your location in Dubai falls in the 'Standard Area' or 'Beyond Area' before placing an order. We shall inform you immediately if delivery to your location on the same day, in 24 hrs or in 2 business days.

There are certain items for which Express Delivery is not possible.

EXPRESS PICKUP
Can be picked from our office but only on confirmation through a email or message from Emarkiz.com. There would be a charge of AED 10 for the same. It would be best if you would confirm with us on the chat or email to confirm if Express Pickup is possible for the product before placing the order.
